E.On submit planning application for a seven turbine wind farm.

E.On hold 'Public Information Days' at less than a week's notice (for those in receipt of an 'invitation' - considerably less notice for those who only heard through the grapevine) in West Haddon on 24th May, Cold Ashby on 25th May and Guilsborough on 27th May. Timing 4-8 pm.

9th/10th December 2009

Erection of anemometry mast. 


E.ON presented their proposal re the Winwick Warren Wind Farm at two
public exhibitions:

Wednesday 11th November 2009 1-8pm

Cold Ashby Hall, Church Lane, Cold Ashby NN6 6EG

Tuesday 10th November 2009 2-9pm

West Haddon Village Hall, The Green, West Haddon NN6 7AN

Planning permission granted fror a "temporary" anemometry mast on the proposed site.

West Haddon Parish Council organise meeting to assess the feelings of the inhabitants of West
Haddon towards the proposed Wind Farm at Watford for which planning has already been submitted

Official notification of results not received. However Adrian Snook of Stop the Spin noted:

54 in opposition to the Volkswind (Watford) Planning Application
21 in favour of the application
2 abstentions

Decision on the Yelvertoft Wind Farm deferred by Daventry Planning Committee

Public meeting in Winwick Church to present initial case against siting a wind farm at Winwick
Warren. Landowner present, hence no strategic issues covered.

1 June 2009

Scheduled meeting to discuss Winwick Fete, now attended by two representatives of E.ON, who
briefly present their case and answer questions.

May 2009

Pete Drabble, Clerk to Winwick Parish Meeting, receives and circulates copies of the Scoping
Request
for the Winwick Warren Wind Farm presented by E.ON to Daventry District Council.

First news that a wind farm has been proposed for land at Winwick Warren within the parish.

Details received of the Planning Application for the Wind Farm at Yelvertoft/Lilbourne. We have
until 9th June
to make submissions to Daventry Disctrict Council.
